Masoor Dal Chilla : High protein breakfast!
Hello friends, today I am sharing one of the healthiest breakfast recipes. Its easy to make and less time consuming.
You can add veggies and also make them without it. Good for weight loss.
Ingredients reqd:
1.Masoor Dal -1 cup
2.Green chilies-2-3
3.Ginger -1/2 inch( finely chopped)
4.Turmeric powder
5.Red chili powder
6.Salt( as reqd)
7.Oil for cooking
8.Heeng
9.Baking soda- a pinch
Preparation Time( Time :15-20 mins)
1.Take 1 cup of masoor dal and soak it overnight otherwise you can soak it for 3 hours also.
2.Take a mixer grinder and then add the dal, green chilies, ginger and salt and try to grind it without water.
3.If not able to grind, add little water.
4.Then in the batter, you can add onions or veggies if you like.
5.Now add 1 tsp oil in the batter to make it soft and add 1 pinch soda and keep it for 15 mins aside.
6.Now the batter must be thickened after 20 mins, add water if you need.
7.Add red chili powder and turmeric powder for color and you can add the Masalas of your choice.
8.Take the non-stick dosa tawa and then place the batter and make chillas out of them by spreading it evenly.
9.Now the masoor dal chilla is ready to serve them with chutney of your choice.

3.It's rich in vitamin B or folate.
4. It is also used in skin : as a face pack as it is used to lighten the pigment.
5.Removes tan, acne and blackheads in the skin.
6.Helps retain the moisture of the skin, used as a skin cleanser.
