KURKURA POHA STARTER: EASY RECIPE!
Hey my blog family! Today I am not going to share healthy recipe π.Today going to share an easy recipe of starter/ snack.You can have it as a tea snack.
Lets begin the recipe..Lets get started...
Ingredients required:
1.Poha /Aval/Atukula/Avalakki-1 cup
2.Gram flour/Besan-1/2 cup
3.Oil for frying
4.Masala-e-magic: Salt(as per taste),Red chilli powder(kasmiri red chilli for color)- tsp,ajwain(carrom seeds)-1/4 tsp,turmeric powder-1/4 tsp, cumin seeds-1/4 tsp,Asafetida powder ( heeng)-1/4 tsp
5.Ginger(1 inch)-grated
6.Green chilli-2-3( chopped finely)
7.Coriander leaves-2-3 tsp
Preparation :( Time taken :20-25 mins)( Serves 2-3 people)
1. First take 1 cup poha and wash it with water 2 times and keep it aside for 10-12 mins and let the water dry completely.
2.Now in a bowl take the gram flour and add the salt,red chili powder ,ajwain and turmeric powder and mix it well .
3.Now mix the poha well with the gram flour mixture and combine and mix it well and make it dough.
4.Now you can give it any shape of your choice or cylindrical or oval shape as below.If you feel its sticky add corn flour/rice flour to the mixture.
5.Now fry it in hot oil till golden brown till crisp on both sides.
6.Our kurkure poha starter is ready to be served with green chutney/tomato ketchup.
Note :
1.You can either deep fry/shallow fry the pattie depending on your own choice.
2.You can add the chat masala,lemon juice to the mixture to make it more tasty.
This is one of the easiest starter recipe without potato.
