Green coconut chutney: Coriander chutney
Hello blog members! Today I am going to share another amazing chutney recipe. It includes coconut and coriander leaves.
Let's begin:
Ingredients reqd:
1.Coconut -1/2( fresh)
2.Green chili-2-3
3.Coriander leaves-a handful
4.Garlic-5-6 pods
5.Onion-1 ( medium size)-sliced thinly
6.Ginger-1/2 inch
7.Chana dal - 2-3 tbspoons
8.Curd -2-3 tbspoon
Masalas: salt( as reqd), jeera-1/2 tbspoon, black salt - 1/4 tbspoon.
For tempering :
1.Cumin seeds, mustard seeds, heeng, curry leaves, chana dal, urad dal.
Preparation :(Time : 20 mins)
1. Heat 2-3 tbspoon oil in a pan and let it become hot, add coconut (chopped), green chili, chana dal, cumin seeds, curry leaves, chopped onion, garlic pods, ginger and salt.
2.Now fry it till golden brown.
6.Our chutney is ready to be served with dosa, idly and poori.
You can add tamarind instead of curd to it.

Coriander leaves( धनिया पत्ती )
1.Also known as cilantro in many parts of the world.
2.Used to reduce bad cholesterol and increases good cholesterol.
3. Used for digestive system and increases liver function.
4.Good for diabetes as it reduces blood sugar levels.
5.It has Vitamin A and also used antioxidant
6.It has antiseptic properties and used to treat mouth ulcers( मुँह के छाले ).
7.Used for good menstrual flow.
