Wheat Tandoori Roti/Naan - Healthy and yummy!

Today I am going to teach you healthy version of tandoori roti made of wheat..
This will be different as its without a tandoor.. So you will be thinking how can we made tandoori roti without tandoor. We can on tawa.. Iron tawa.. Yes.. You read it right.Thats the twist.
We always have iron tawa in our kit
chen and sometimes we feel to make Naan or tandoori roti in home.. But we will not because we will think that it needs tandoor.. We we make our cooking full of hassles and if we try also it won't turn like we get in fancy restaurants.
So we will order it instead from a restaurant. But my recipe won't be disappointing as it will taste better than restaurant one.. So lets start.
Ingredients required :
1.Wheat flour -2 cups
2.Curd -2 tbspoon
3.Salt-as per taste
4.sugar - 1 tspoon
5.Oil-2 tbspoon
6.Soda -1/2 tspoon(Dont add more as it will spoil your naan.)
7.Add water if you need
8.Ghee /Butter
For garnishing :White sesame seeds(Safed til), coriander leaves, kalonji seeds ( onion seeds).
Lets prepare :
Take a bowl, add wheat flour(you can take 1 cup maida and 1 cup atta).. Just make a heap and make a hole in between... Add curd, oil, sugar, salt and soda. Mix them together well.. And then start kneading the dough.
Slowly add water and knead the dough.. After kneading it. Just pour some oil over it and knead for 5 mins continuously.
Take a damp cloth and tuck the dough and apply some oil over it and cover it for 1 hour max to 20 mins minimum.
After 1 hour, knead it again.. Just see whether it has raised... It will rise.
Take iron tawa(roti tawa which we use normally). You should check that it should not be oily, if its oily just wash it well.
Heat it on high flame.. Till it's hot. Meanwhile, make balls out of dough.. Roll it slighly thick(you can give it round shape or oval ).
On one side, garnish it will coriander leaves, kalonji seeds and til seeds. Then some drops of water and again roll it with rolling pin(belan) so that they don't fall down while heating it on flame. On the other side.. Take water and pour it on the roti (just wet it) and dip your fingers into water and make impressions with fingers.
Then take the side with water and keep it on the tawa so that it sticks to the hot tawa... Wait till some bubbles form. As soon as bubbles appear.. Take the tawa and put it upside down(the side with seeds)and cook it till it gets brown spots.
You should be careful while doing this as it can burn your hands or fingers.. Just move the tawa so that roti is done evenly on all sides.
When it's done.. Just scrap it from the other side and it will be brown. Remove it from the tawa and apply ghee or butter as per your choice.
Our Naan is done.
Serve it with dal makhni/paneer or any other curry of your choice.
