Soya/ mealmaker/Nutri is the soya chunks. We can use soya granules also.
We refer" soya" as vegetarians non-veg because of its taste and color.Veg soya keema / soya keema is a very easy form of keema which is non-veg. Here we use soya instead of non-veg
History:
The soybean / soya bean is a species of legume which is from east asia.Its a bean like dal/ cereals.
Soybean are used in many forms like soymilk, tofu( which is soya paneer) but it will be chewy.
Fermented soya products are soya sauce- main ingredients of chinese cuisine.
Soy products are used by vegan people. The vegan diet includes the plant based protein.
Ingredients needed:
1.soya chunks/ mealmaker-1 cup
2.onion-2(finely chopped).
3.tomato-2( finely chopped)
4.green chillies-4( finely chopped)
5.garlic pods-7-10( finely chopped)
6.ginger-1/2 inch( finely chopped), green peas.
7.Masalas: salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala, kitchen king masala, khada masalas: elaichi, laung( cloves), black pepper corns-3-4,oil, butter, jeera seeds, heeng.
8.Coriander leaves for garnishing.
Procedure :(Time taken:20 mins).
1.Take 1 cup soya chunks and a big utensil.
2.Add water,boil and add the chunks. Add salt and let it boil for 10 mins.
3.After 10 mins, the chunks will be spungy. Now cool the chunks and grind it well.
4.After grinding the mixture, wash it as it contains dust particles.
5.Now take a non-stick pan / kadai and add butter+ oil.
6.Add chopped garlic+ ginger, jeera seeds and let it cook. Now add chopped onions.
7.Now fry them till golden brown and add tomatoes.
8.Add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, kitchen king masala.
9.Let the tomatoes get mushy. Add the grinded soya chunks.
10.Let it cook and let the moisture gets dried up.
11.It should be like burji consistency. Andr finally garnish it with coriander leaves.
12.Our soya keema is ready. Enjoy it with chapati or parathas.
You can add panner instead of soya.
