Hello Blog Members! Today I am going to share Gavar phali/guar/kothavarangai/gorikai/goruchikkudu kai in rajasthani style. There are many versions but I am sharing the most simplest one.
Let's begin the recipe:
Ingredients reqd:
1.Cluster beans ( 250 gms)
2.Tomatoes -2(mediumsize)
3.Garlic -5-10
4.Green chili -1
5.Masala-e -magic: salt( as per taste), red chilli powder -1 tbspoon, coriander powder -1 tbsp, sabzi masala-1/2 tbsp, garam masala -1/2 tbsp, turmeric powder-1/2 tbsp, dry mango powder(amchoor)-1/2 tbsp,cumin seeds-1 tbsp, heeng
6.Oil(mustard oil)-as reqd
Preparation time:20 mins(if not chopped)-Serves 2-3 people
1.First take the fresh cluster beans or gavar ki phali and chop them fine. It should be fresh so that it takes less time to cook.
2.Now chop the tomatoes and green chili and keep it aside.
3.Heat the oil in a kadai/ pan and let the mustard oil heat well till the fume comes out and add cumin seeds, heeng, garlic pods and green chili.
4.Now add the beans and saute it well. Add salt, turmeric powder and cover it as it gets steamed.
