Chinese vermicelli recipe: breakfast / tiffin recipe
Hello blog members🙏🏻Today I am going to share vermicelli recipe with Chinese taste. Many people have complains that there vermicelli becomes soggy or undercooked when they make it. So I am sharing the recipe and lets begin the recipe..
Ingredients we need:
1.Vermicelli / Semiyan-Roasted/ unroasted -1 cup.
2.Veggies- capsicum, carrot, cabbage,( all finely chopped)green chilli-2( finely chopped),coriander leaves for garnishing
3.For tempering : urad dal-1 tsp, chana dal-1 tsp, cashew nuts-2-3 tsps, curry leaves-10,Heeng-2 pinches, jeera-1 tsp, mustard seeds-1 tsp, coriander powder -1 tsp, garam masala-1/2 tsp, red chilli powder-1/2 tsp,lemon juice from top, black pepper corns-5-6( crushed)
4..Oil for frying
5. Boiled water -2-3 cups
Preparation: Time taken: 20-25 mins( serves-3)
1..Take the vermicelli and roast it if its not roasted.Take a tsp oil and roast it till brown.
2.Now side by side boil water.. Add salt and some oil to it.. Bring it to boil and add the roasted vermicelli to it.
3.Boil the vermicelli for 7-10 mins and strain it in strainer.
4.Now take a kadai / pan and add oil. When the oil gets heated add jeera seeds, mustard seeds, chana dal, urad dal, curry leaves and cashew. Add green chilli and ginger to it. Roast it till golden brown.
5.Add chopped onions, roast it till golden brown. Now add capsicum and cabbage to it. Add salt, red chilli powder and let it cook in steam.
6.After 10 mins the veggies will get soft and then add the boiled vermicelli and mix it well. Add garam masala to it and saute it well. Add black pepper from top.
7.This will give a chinese taste to it.
8.Our vermicelli is ready to be served. You can serve it with coconut chutney.
This recipe will be loved by children too and its healthy as its full of veggies.
Add veggies like beans, Beetroot.
