Make this Breakfast of bread within minutes!
Hey foodies🙏🏻 Welcome to my blog.. How have you been? I am good. Today I am going to share a easy breakfast made of bread. Lets begin the recipe..
We will need:
1.Bread-4 slices( any bread)
2.Veggies: onion-1( chopped), Tomato-1( chopped),Capsicum-1/2( chopped),Green chilli-1( chopped), Mint and coriander leaves for garnishing.
3.cumin seeds-1 tsp, mustard seeds-1 tsp, salt( as reqd),garam masala-1/2 tsp,coriander powder-1/2 tsp,jeera powder-1/2 tsp, heeng-a pinch, Tomato ketchup -1 tbsp
4.oil for cooking
Preparation :( serves-2)
1.Take the bread slices and dry roast it on tawa or you can even toast it on toaster.Make square pieces of the roasted bread.
2.When its crunchy, its done.
3.Take a pan, add oil, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, heeng, green chilli. Then add onion, capsicum and roast it well.
4.Once golden brown, add tomatoes. Cook them till mushy. Add the masalas like salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, jeera powder.
5.When all the masalas are infused, add the roasted bread to the masala. And mix them all.Add tomato ketchup 1 tbsp.
6.Dont overmix and turn it soggy. The crunch should be there.
7.Our bread poha/ upma is done.
8.Serve hot with tea/ coffee.
Note:
1.Roast the bread for best results.
