Hello readers, Namaste🙏🏻. Today I am gonna share Aloo Chat recipe. Its easy and finger-licking. Made with boiled and fried potato and topped with green chutney, this aloo chat can be perfect monsoon recipe. Let's begin the recipe.. Lets get started..
Ingredients needed:
1.Potato( boiled)-3
2.Onion-1( big size)- finely chopped, Tomato-(1finely chopped)
3.Roasted /fried peanuts-for garnishing
4.Tomato sauce & green chutney- for garnishing .
5.Green chilli-1
6.Ginger- finely slit
7.Chat masala
8.Roasted cumin powder ( jeera powder)
9.Red chilli powder.
10.Pudina powder( dried mint leaves)
11.Oil for frying
12.salt
13..Lemon juice-1 lemon
14.Sweet curd- for garnishing
Coriander and mint leaves for garnishing.
Cabbage leaves for plating( optional)
Procedure :
1.First take a non-stick pan, add oil and fry the roasted peanuts well. Now fry it till brown.
2.Keep those aside. Now take the boiled potatoes, peel them and cut it into pieces ( nor too small nor big)
3.Heat the same pan, add oil for frying the potatoes. Fry it till they form brown crispy skin. Add salt, red chilli powder and roasted jeera powder.
4.When its fried, now add tomato ketchup and green chutney in middle of the pan and cook it.
5.Now gently mix the fried potatoes and let it fully mix.
6.Now take a cabbage peel ( just for plating). Now add the fried potatoes on top of it. Add the chopped onion, ginger, green chilli, and fried roasted peanuts all over the potatoes.
7.Now add chat masala, red chilli powder, roasted jeera powder, pudina powder and sweet dahi and add the lemon juice.
8.Now garnish it with mint and coriander leaves.
9.Our aloo chat platter is ready to be served on rainy day.
10.You can even add one more layer of fried potatoes. Our aloo chat is readg to eat.
11.It can be easily made with home ingredients and make it tangy and spicy.
You can have other options like aloo tikki, sweet corn chat.
